We vet the curator, not every item. Before anyone can list, we check their identity and their selling history — most of our curators have an established Instagram thrift page or a physical store behind them. Items are shipped directly by the curator, so ZThrifts never takes physical custody of a piece and does not inspect or authenticate it.
Payment is handled on the platform rather than over DMs, curators are identity-verified, and every order has an invoice and a tracking number you can follow. If something arrives that is not what was listed, you have a claim route through us — which is the thing an Instagram DM purchase does not give you.
Open the order in your ZThrifts account, choose Report a problem on the item, and tell us what went wrong within 2 calendar days of delivery, with a link to your unboxing video and photos. Your report stops that clock, and our team raises the claim for you. If the item is defective or not the item you ordered and that was not disclosed in the listing, we accept the claim, the curator bears the cost of the return, and you are refunded in full — and you choose how it reaches you: to your original payment method, or as a ZThrifts coupon valid 1 month from issue. We confirm your choice when we accept the claim and issue the refund within 14 working days; the original-payment-method route then takes a further 5–7 business days to reach your bank. All sales are otherwise final — an item that simply does not fit is not a valid claim.
No. Items ship directly from the curator to you and ZThrifts never handles them, so we cannot and do not inspect, authenticate or grade them ourselves. We rely on the curator’s description and images, which is exactly why the listing photos and the stated measurements are worth reading closely before you order.
